Good morning my fellow yellow minions;

For those of you M-F, 9-5 types... The weekend is almost upon you and liquor stores open at 10, but please do not drink and drive... not now, not ever...but do hoist one for me as you sit and relax rewatching the Cubs win the world seriers...because as a Canucks fan, I'll probably NEVER enjoy that moment of ultimate victory, but hey, I digress...

A balmy morning for FMM, LLB and Edmonton... All are hovering around 5-6 and all are expecting a fairly warm afternoon, with Edmonton being the hot spot at +15 later today.

So far so good on both Hwy 63 and Hwy 881, with no new incidents to report. Be mindful of the possibility of fog in the low lying areas, but other than that, your drive/commute should be fairly uneventful.

That's all for this morning folks, but please use this thread to keep each other up to date as to the current conditions of where you're at. (yes grammar Nazis, I ended a sentence with a preposition, but my wife likes that I can be the "bad boy" type lol)

Stay safe, drive to the conditions and remember...

Somoene is expecting you home tonight.

Good morning mabibi na mabwana;

Its a wee bit frrrosty in FMM this morning with overcast skies and -8. It will get colder than the Ontario Premier's popularity numbers this morning before the sun comes up, -10 will be the low with the wind cooling things off to -16. +4 will be your daytime high, with mostly sunny skies. LLB could see some flurries this morning, but it shouldn't add up to much more than 1-2cm. LLB is currently sitting at -5 and your daytime high is +4 with mostly sunny skies. Edmonton is checking in at -1 with overcast skies, but they'll see a daytime high of nearly PLUS 10 !!! Looks like the red hot Oilers (3 words not used together in a decade) are the real reason behind Alberta's "climate change" and not some pseudo, trumped up science that JT can tax lol.

So far so good on both Hwy 63 and Hwy 881 with no new incidents to report. Both roads appear to be bare and dry from top to bottom, but do be mindful of some foggy patches in the low lying areas.

That's all for this morning folks. Please use this thread to keep each other up to date as tot he current conditions of where you're to.

Stay safe, drive to the conditions and remmeber...

Someone is expecting you home tonight.

Good morning dames en heren;

 For those of you with chidren STILL running around the house on a major sugar rush... Perhaps some extra strength gravol for them and an Advil and a shot or 5 of the Goose for yourself...

First off, I do apologize for the very early posts. I am working in northern Manitoba on a project and over here, were are an hour ahead... So, there is some lag time in my abilities to update in a more timely manner. FMM is is currently -4 and -10 with the wind (here comes the cold) and there are some flurries/snow in the area. Alberta 511 is still showing both HWY 63 and Hwy 881 clear and dry, but that may not last for the morning, but the skies will clear up a bit later on. LLB has partly cloudy skies and is sitting at -2 with negligible wind chill and those conditions should last for most of the day. Edmonton is checking in at 0 with some light flurries, but just like Brad and Angelina, the clouds will part ways and let the sunshine through.

So far so good on both Hwy 63 and Hwy 881 from Edmonton to FMM. There may be some fog in the low lying areas to be mindful of and any flurries along the way could impede your vision. So please slow down and adjust your driving accordingly.

That's all for this morning folks, but please use this thread to keep each other up to date as to the current conditions of where you're to.

Stay safe, drive to the conditions and remeber...

Someone is expecting you home tonight.
